** I Will have approx. 30 minutes in today's class and possibly another 30 minutes next week as well.
* In the book page 47 is the opening speech.
** I will help them to structure their opening speech around similar language.
** I will use scaffolding to show them how to create their own statements.
** Vocabulary on pages 43 and 44.

Appledog's Intro to Migrant Workers:
* I will ask questions and discuss for 15 minutes.
** What is a migrant worker? A worker, who is a migrant (working in another country).
** Where can you go to work?
** Why do people become migrant workers? To see the world, to make money.
** Do you know any migrant workers? Do you want to be a migrant worker? Do you like the migrant workers in Taiwan?
* Is it dangerous to be a migrant worker? Agency Scams, dangerous work, (3d: low salary, bad working environment (dirty or difficult), dangerous environment)
* Are some migrant workers dangerous?
