== The Cat and the Slick Rocks, or “To Catch a Frog”.
# A cat sat on the soft mat and watched the clock.
# A cold wind pressed against the glass and rattled the pots.
# The old hound stood, stretched, and walked to the dock.
# Dark clouds spread as frogs hopped over the slick rocks.
# To catch a frog the cat leapt, but its paws slipped and it skidded back.
# The hound growled, "Watch your step, for the rocks are wet."
# The cat flicked its tail and laughed, "I never fall, I am fast!"
# It jumped again, but the slick stone sent it tumbling into the black pond.
# The hound raised his paw and said, "Pride trips the quickest feet."
# Dripping and wet the cat agreed, “Look before you leap!”
