The teacher has told me that it is up to me to choose a length, so I have chosen approx. 2 minutes; the length of approximately one page in a magazine. This will allow the student to choose a magazine article if they absolutely cannot write one by themselves.

About the Class:

• On this date or the 6th I was informed this was a speech class.
• We will therefore focus on presentation.
• The students will hold regular presentations in class,
• and will be graded later on a 5 minute presentation.
• This is like a speech. It is different than “reading theater”, apparently, in that it is more formal and not prop-based.
• Focus on speech and accent after they have their presentation text down.
• Main focus then will be on the writing and ‘getting through’ the presentation of their English.
