GSL PE Class

  • Teacher: Meng Ceng

Feb 26

  • Meng Ceng has a day off.
  • We will practice 1st movement, 10x all jibengong, and learn 2nd movement.
  • After the students can demonstrate these movements they can go to play badminton or basketball. Students who do not participate in the sports will remain for practice.

Feb 24

  • Meng Ceng has a day off.
  • We learned 1st movement of Chen Style.

  • Hunyuan Qigong #1 and applications.

Today we will review Ya Tui Gong in the aspect of hamstring flexibility. We will study the three concepts in this video:

  • Markers:
    • Hug your knees
    • Elbow to toe
    • Kick at head height
  • Trainers:
  • Nerve Floss: 30 slow reps. What Qigong methods can we use here?
  • Active Stretch: pull leg down/back. Special Method (cannot be seen)
  • Passive ('regular' Ya Tui Gong–relax into stretch)

Today we will train the above and then the related move from the 24 (probably support the sky and search the sea).
