January Final

As a note, I have been following the standard lesson plans in the magazine, see example scaffolding lesson plans. This class is good in the sense that they are quiet, however, they do not like to talk or participate frequently.

September 12

Today's class used the camping lesson on Pg. 38 and 40, and we used the following strategy:

Strategy

  1. Find all the 'info' points.
  2. Ask an 'info' question
  3. Ask Why
  4. “What about you”

Strategy Example

  • One. Info points (pg 40 Conversation A)
    • Pamela
    • Antony
    • Camping
    • Tent
    • Sleeping Bags

    • Who is Antony (A: Pamela's Friend)
    • Do you like Camping? Have you ever been camping?
    • Do you have a tent? Do you like tents?
  • Three:
    • A: Do you like Camping?
    • B: No, I don't.
