Model UN Teacher's Meetings

  • Location: JC1F
  • Homeroom Teacher: Debby, Hung Li-Ching

This class is a combined/elective class with 50% Gao Yi Yi and then Gao Yi Cheng and others.

December 21

  • Debbie came to meet me today and discuss the model UN opening speech parameters.
  • In the book page 47 is the opening speech.
  • My idea is I will help them to structure their opening speech around similar language and I will use scaffolding to show them how to create their own statements based on the vocabulary on pages 43 and 44.
  • Note: This is not an introduction (pg. 31, 32) or a resolution (pg. 33, 34, 37) so we will only study the language specific to opening speeches and their examples in the book.
  • Will have approx. 30 minutes in today's class and possibly another 30 minutes next week as well.
