1. Same Similar and Different.
- What is the same as an orange?
- An orange! Only an orange is the same.
- “These two are the same because they are oranges.”
2. What's different?
- This one is different because it is round (play the which one is different game)
- “This one is different because it is long.”
3. What about.. Similar?
- “A is similar to B”. The orange is similar to the apple because it is round.
- “The pencil is similar to a snake because it is long.”
- A dog is similar to a cat because it is cute / it is furry / it has four legs./ has tails, eyes and ears.
- SIMILAR
- DIFFERENT
- TAIL: my dog likes to chase his own TAIL.
- BONE: A dog likes to eat a BONE.

- Agree on a character. Name, Animal type, size, color shape. Anything else? Big or small? Fast or slow?
- The character is hungry, so they open the fridge. They see three different kinds of food. What food will they eat? (and, it goes from there).
- Can you make your own story to tell me? What story can you tell Appledog? Choose a book if you cannot read a story!
