Taipingyun Bridge
 | The Taipingyun Suspension Bridge is the highest suspension bridge in Taiwan. On a clear day, you can look out over the Jianan Plain and even the Taiwan Strait from the bridge. The suspension bridge is illuminated at night, and the lights of the rainbow's seven colors are arranged seven days a week, such as red on Monday and orange on Tuesday, and so on. |
Sacred Tree
| There are huge groups of red cypress trees beside the forest iron in Alishan. They are called the Alishan Sacred Tree Group. They are the ones that survived the fate of being cut down. Among them, there is a red juniper tree that was thousands of years old next to the Sacred Tree Station. It was first developed into a scenic area and was called the Alishan Sacred Trees. |  |
Train
| The railway was constructed during the Japanese colonial era to transport wood from the Forest of Alishan. After the logging operations ceased, passenger transportation and tourism became the primary functions of the railway. |  |

Coffee Pork Ribs
| The coffee-flavored pork ribs with plum sauce are seasoned with locally produced coffee and plum sauce from Alishan, which tastes salty and sweet, and you can also enjoy a little coffee finish. |  |
bamboo tube rice
| The Tsou, the native in Alishan, are famous for their bamboo tube rice pudding, which is made by putting glutinous rice soaked in water into the bamboo joints of Phyllostachys makinoi bamboo and then roasting it over a fire. The wet in the bamboo will keep the rice from burning, and it can also have the aroma of bamboo. In the past, when hunters went out hunting, they would carry many bamboo tubes of it with them to eat in the forest. |  |
Aiyu
| Aiyu is endemic to Taiwan and is a precious ingredient that is difficult to obtain, but there are a lot of Aiyu trees grow in Alishan. It is often made into jelly, which is nutritious for humans and elastic. It can also be eaten with honey and lemon. |  |
Alishan Tea
The tea leaves are thick and suitable for producing oolong tea. These leaves are hand-picked with from harvesting to roasting, made-green oolong tea that allows people to taste the finest flavors of Ali Mountain oolong tea. |

| Men are dressed in animal skins. Clothes made of red cloth and hats with feathers are the standard dress for Zou men. For women, red corsets, embroidered headscarves, blue dresses and black dresses are the main outfits. |
Fiesta
“Millet Harvest Festival” Festival Dance Performance The Millet Harvest Festival is held every year after the end of the Millet Harvest, and is mainly thankful to the Millet God for taking care of the crops and uniting the centripetal force between the families. Every year, when the millet is about to be harvested, the elders of each clan decide on the harvest time and begin to prepare for rituals, such as making wine, making glutinous rice cakes, tidying up the family sacrifice house, etc., and defending against the invasion of evil spirits with stumps/small tongue chrysanthemums.
On the day of the festival, the elders of each clan and their clansmen offer wine, meat, glutinous rice cakes, etc. to the gods to thank the farmers for a good harvest and pray for their families. |
Triumph Festival Ritual Activities The Triumph Festival is a tribal festival of the Zou people, which is held from January to March in the spring and August to October in the autumn. The Triumph Festival is a festival dedicated to the gods of the Celestial Gods, the Gods of War, the Gods of Command, and the spirits of the hunted heads, and is intended to commemorate past wars, pray for victory in future battles, and uproot bad luck and disease. The war festival is attended by representatives of each family gathered in the hall to greet the gods and worship the gods, and then go around the forbidden house of each family lineage. The Zou people believe that when the war festival is held, the gods of heaven and war will descend through the red banyan tree next to the clubhouse, so the members of the festival will form a circle in front of the tree and chant the song of welcoming the gods. |
